HORSES, TRUCKS & MEN..................
this morning started out the pits. Billy & I argued the first rattle out of the damned box! He didn't go to work............again. and it pissed me off. I woke him up for work but he didn't get up. I finally went back in later & asked why he wasn't going to work and he just shrugged & said "I'm sleepy." THAT's no excuse in my book. He SAIS he "wants to take care of me". Well, NOT going to work is NOT taking "care" of me. It instead makes me worry & stress out. Besides that............I"m sick and tired of his being under foot for 3 1/2 days now. He came home early Friday and was off all weekend. So I just flat don't get his just being lazy about going to work. When I did work before being on disability.............I don't care how I felt............I WENT TO WORK. they might have had to send me back home because I was sick and they SAW I was sick, but by damned...... I always showed up for work. Period! I have no use for a lazy man. And Billy's damned lazy.
After this morning's fight I needed to get away, so I went out around 10 a.m. and caught up Sassy and Dollar. Sassy and I went for a short ride.....about 3 miles, then i came back and played with Dollar a while. There was another "first" with little Dollar. He's FINALLY getting the hang of parking out. He is so pretty when he does his four point stretched out stance. He looks like the Tennessee Walker Stud that he's becoming so quickly. I'm so proud of Dollar. ANyway..........while we were going thru the paces of all his little tricks............I had him lay down. when he was laying down on his belly I got brave and actually sat across his back for the first time. He certainly couldn't buck that way.. hehe. I sat there for about a minute. won't do it longer than that as he's really too young to be "riding " yet. But laying down is a little different. I just patted on him.....loved on him..........then got off and told him "UP". And he got to his feet. I was so tickled with him. He never tried to get up, nor acted spooked or nervous or anything when I was sitting across his back. If I keep doing this .....as he grows..........and only when he's laying down....................then perhaps when it's actually time to mount him and start riding him in 6 months he may not even buck. that's my goal anyway.
When I got through playing with the horses I had to come back down to the house and deal with Bill's morose ass. I HATE it when he's home just sitting around. I can't get much done when he's around. And he should've been at work to begin with. He had no excuse not to be at work today. Jerk!
Finally, late this afternoon, we were called to go pick up my new truck. I'm soooooooooo glad to finally have wheels again. He keeps saying "OUR" truck. I told him it's not "OURS" its' MINE. HE HAS a truck. THIS truck is allll MINE! Whether he's in the picture or not......................it's MY truck. And I dare him to try to take it away from me. I just dare him.
He kept calling me as we drove home from Terrell tonight, trying to tell me how to drive...... slow down, what are you doing up there.............etc. I finally told him..............."I"M driving this damned truck. Drive your own and leave me the hell alone. " I'm so tired of his trying to tell me what to do, how to do, and when to do.....................everything. He's a control freak.................and I WONT be controlled. Period. But nevertheless.................my charcoal gray, 2001, Dodge Sport is finally sitting at my front door. FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!
WEll, that's been my day. nothing too exciting. bill's pretty much put a damper on the day for me. He's so damned depressing to be around and I can't help wondering why the hell i married him to begin with.
